Installation
------

Step 1 — Copy the files
------

Standalone app:
Copy Neural Analog.app to /Applications/

Step 2 — macOS security warning, if one appears
------

macOS may show a first-launch confirmation because the software was downloaded from the Internet, or a DAW may trigger a security check while scanning a new plug-in.

If macOS blocks Neural Analog:
1. Try to open the app, or let your DAW scan the plug-in once.
2. Open System Settings.
3. Go to Privacy & Security.
4. Scroll down to the Security section.
5. If macOS shows that Neural Analog was blocked, click Open Anyway or Allow Anyway.
6. Confirm the prompt, then open the app again or restart your DAW and rescan plug-ins.

Step 3 — Restart, rescan, and enjoy
------

Restart your DAW or plug-in host after installing or updating a plug-in.
Rescan plug-ins if Neural Analog does not appear automatically.
Load Neural Analog as a standalone app, VST3, AU, or AAX depending on your install.

Enjoy!

Update to a newer version — copy/paste commands
------

Close Neural Analog and every DAW or plug-in host before updating.
Extract the new download, open Terminal in that extracted folder, and copy/paste the commands for the file included in your download.
These commands replace the previous copy.

Standalone app:
sudo rm -rf "/Applications/Neural Analog.app"
sudo ditto "./Neural Analog.app" "/Applications/Neural Analog.app"

After updating, reopen your DAW and force a plug-in rescan if the previous version is still shown.
